Ravi Shankar is a technologist with a proven track record of over 25 years with leadership roles in ASIC design & verification, VLSI design methodologies, EDA and software development. Ravi has conceptualized and engineered several IPs and methodologies in software architecture, system design, chip design and verification space.
Ravi has co-founded two start-ups in 20 years’ time – where he has participated in various roles of engineering, business development, customer relationship and product initiatives. As a business leader, he led his teams to win the confidence of several global customers in the VLSI domain and continues to enjoy an excellent recommendation from them. In engineering lead capacities, he has successfully led the verification of several complex chips based on innovative techniques and methodologies. Ravi has published several technical papers in various forums in the space of verification.
At Whizchip, where he served as the CEO, Ravi’s vision propelled the company’s IP, technology and methodology group. Heading the innovation group at WhizChip, he was instrumental in creation of path-breaking products, IPs, methodologies and tools. Earlier, during his stint at Synopsys, he is one of the early proponents of HVL based verification in India and Asia-pac region and has helped several semiconductor design houses adopt it. Later, as an engineering manager at Ample Communications, Ravi has delivered complex multi-site engineering assignments leading to successful chips.

Raghavendra Mohan is a semiconductor and high-end electronics system design professional with over 25 years of international experience. Mohan has worked on various aspects of semiconductor product engineering. In his early days of the career, Mohan worked as a sales engineer in the EDA products space where he garnered fundamental knowledge of complex chip design cycles and semiconductor product engineering.
Mohan then moved on to co-found a startup – Inspiration Technologies. At Inspiration, Mohan worked closely with several key global customers and developed business in VLSI engineering services and system engineering services. Mohan also worked with the internal R&D team and developed multiple products in the space of embedded systems, switch fabric IP and later a network routing algorithm validation platform.
Later, in 2005, Mohan co-founded Whizchip – a very successful VLSI services and CAD tool company which worked in some very exciting projects with global leaders like AMD, Cypress Semiconductors, Nvidia, NXP, Qualcomm, Raza Micro, Synopsys and many other small to midsize customers from US. Mohan also worked on the product definition of Vyuh and SoCCER, Whizchip’s productivity enhancement CAD tools which were adopted in every single turnkey assignment of Whizchip and were greatly responsible for project successes.
Guruprasad Katte has been working in the VLSI industry for more than 20 years. He has moved from engineering to sales and he understands the problems of design engineering teams and VLSI businesses in terms of design complexity and time challenges.
As an engineer, he has worked on high end digital electronic design circuits & power electronic segment in the early days of his career. Later, he worked as a sales engineer in EDA products & VLSI Design services segment, which gave Guru an in-depth exposure to the challenges of chip design cycles and criticalities. Has implemented VLSI consulting business plans & strategic sales. Guru has worked in multinational companies and has constantly engaged with program management, resource management, procurement and vendor management activities.
Working as Director-Business Development at WhizChip, Guru managed resources and has expanded the customer base in India & overseas, meeting the revenue targets & the growth targets of the company, satisfying the requirements of the clients in their complex projects.
Davinder is a distinguished leader with over 22 years of expertise in hardware design and verification, excelling in SoC validation, project management, and strategic leadership. With a Master’s in Information Technologies, a PG Diploma in VLSI Design, and an MBA in Project Management, he combines in-depth technical knowledge with executive acumen.
As VP of Chip Design at Proxelera, Davinder leverages his extensive experience from Intel, where he led SoC pre- and post-silicon validation for Xeon server programs. His role involved managing global teams, coordinating complex projects, and driving innovation across various technologies including NoC, Image Signal Processing, and 5G.
In his previous role at Intel as an Engineering Manager, Davinder excelled in overseeing mobile hardware IPs and subsystems, enhancing operational efficiency, and managing offshore development centers. His leadership ensured high-quality deliverables and adherence to budgetary constraints.
